Hey, today we’re going to look at this. This is a little basket to wash your rice. I got this on Amazon and it’s from Inomata, so let’s give it a go.
I have a cup of Japanese rice and I’m just going to pop it in here, and now we can give it a wash. We’ll just turn on the cold water. I did give this thing a pre-rinse beforehand to get all the chipping dust and stuff off of it. All right, let’s give it a wash. We’ll fill it up, just do it like that.
The rice should be nice and clean now — all the starch should be kind of washed away. I think that was long enough, and now I can just pop it into my rice cooker and make some rice.
