Hey everyone, this is one of my favourite gadgets — the Tile Slim 2022. What is it? It’s a lost item finder, and I actually own two of these. It just slips right into my wallet, so I keep it right here like that. If I can’t find my wallet, in the Tile app — I don’t usually use an iPad for this, but — I can just hit find and there it goes, it rings and I know where my wallet’s gone.

I really like this item finder, it’s great. One downside is the battery is sealed, meaning after about two years or so you’ll need to get another one. There’s also a little QR code: if a Good Samaritan finds your wallet, they can scan that and be told where to return it. You can also press it a few times and it will ring your phone — I accidentally stopped the recording, it would ring your phone.

So there we go. If you’re looking for something slim that you can put into your wallet or passport holder or something like that, the Tile Slim 2022 is a great option. I’ve never had any issues with it, and when this one dies I plan on getting another. I still lament that I can’t replace the battery — I hate e-waste. Anyway, I’ll see you in the next one. Bye.
