Today we’re looking at this set of vacuum storage bags from Suoco, and it comes with an electric pump. This set comes with four jumbo, four large, six medium, and six small bags. If you get a different variant that doesn’t include a pump, you can also use a vacuum cleaner to suck out the air. Let’s open it up and take a look. I’ll just slice in here.
Everything comes in this baggie: we have the pump and we have our bags. Here’s the pump unboxed. Let’s look at the different bag sizes. First we have the jumbo — I put my cutting board underneath for size. This thing is absolutely massive; you could fit several pillows in here. Next we have the large, which is of course also quite large. Next up is the medium, which is a decent size. And finally we have the small.
I’m going to stick this big fluffy pillow inside and see how small and compressed we can make it. Also included is a bag of clips — I believe these are used to help zip up the bags. I’ll open up the bag — I just open it up like a big Ziploc baggie — and slip the pillow in. Then we unscrew this little valve. Just to note: this cable is quite short, which is a bit unfortunate.
I have the pump plugged in. If you look closely, this doesn’t really attach — you just kind of hold it there. Push the button and suck out the air. That’s definitely a lot more compact than it was before. It will also keep it protected from the elements — you won’t have to worry about it getting mouldy or gross, because it’s in this nice vacuum-sealed bag. When you’re ready to use the item again, you just unzip it, the air rushes back in, and the pillow comes back to life just like that.
