Hello and welcome back. Today we’ll be taking the RedMagic gaming dock that we have here and testing it with my phone. Let’s plug it in. It feels a bit loose — you can see it’s not quite there, mainly because of the case; it’s probably better without the case, but we’ll go with it. You can see we have two inputs, one for power and one for display.

We’ll start with power. I’ve got a regular old USB-C cable, I’ve got this big old power bank, let’s see if we get power. We got power. It seems sturdy, but why go through all this trouble just to run power? The next part goes in here. I have these TCL smart glasses, and they use DisplayPort. One caveat of these is you cannot charge your phone while they’re plugged in.

I’ll set these up quickly — put those down there, plug in our smart glasses, and sure enough, our phone… I think I’ll have to remove these, but sure enough, you can see they’re working. You can see the phone screen mirrored in there. Oh, it turned off because of the proximity sensor. So yeah, the gaming dock is in fact doing its job.

I plan on doing a proper review of this setup with the TCL NXTWEAR S — probably not on this channel, probably on my main one — to show what it can do. Thanks for watching, and see you next time.
