Welcome back. Today we’ll be talking about this ThermoPro hygrometer and thermometer. It is quite good. It is not smart β it’s a dumb device. It just kind of goes on your wall; mine’s stuck on with Blu Tack. It runs on three AAA batteries, and those batteries will last about three years in my case, so it’s pretty good. I replaced the originals with rechargeables; I don’t know if they’ll last as long.
This thing is pretty cool. It keeps track of the historical humidity as well as the historical temperature, but if you change the batteries, you’ll lose it. So this is only going back about three months β I think I changed these in December of 2023, and I got this in January of 2021, so it’s done a good job.
I really like it. It’s a good way to know, well, is the air conditioning even working? It’s been on all day, but it’s been so hot and so humid that it still hasn’t really done much damage despite being on all day. It definitely is on β I can feel it β but it’s just been so muggy here in Australia. My god.
Anyway, if you see the ThermoPro hygrometer thingy, I got mine on Amazon. It’s a good buy, you won’t regret it. It’s not smart, it doesn’t connect to any home assistants, but it’s cool and it does the job pretty well. Pick one up if you see it. All right, bye.
