Hey all, today we’re looking at this — a UGREEN power bank, and a pretty powerful one at that. It can output a max of 140W and has a capacity of 25,000mAh, so it should be able to charge your phone at least once or twice and maybe even charge your laptop. Let’s open it up and take a look.

We’ll just slice it open. Inside we have the power bank, a USB-C to USB-C cable, a few information cards, and a nice carrying bag — that’s a really nice touch, UGREEN, I like that. This is quite a heavy battery. I have my scale here and we’ll pop the battery on it — it weighs about half a kilo, so it’s pretty substantial.

As for ports: we have our input/output, which is the super fast one that can output 140W; then a standard Type-A port; and then another USB-C port that can output up to 65W. On the side there’s a button that tells you how much charge is left — from the factory it has 40%. Let’s charge it up and then use it to charge a device.

I’ve got the power bank plugged in through a USB-C power monitor, and it’s charging at a rate of about 60W, or 20 volts at 3 amps. My charger can do about 65W, so it can’t go much higher than that. We’ll just let it charge.

Now I’ve got my 2021 MacBook Pro and the battery is completely flat — see, it won’t turn on. We’re going to plug in through the USB-C power meter into the 140W port on the battery, using the included charging cable, and see how much power we can push into the MacBook. It’s not charging yet — I think I need to push this button. Now it’s delivering power. I heard the MacBook make a sound — oh, it’s turning on. I don’t actually want it on. It’s already powered on my computer. I’ll put it to sleep. It’s charging the MacBook and delivering 82W.

Now the MacBook’s completely off and it’s charging at 70W, then 65W once it’s properly asleep. So not only was it charging the MacBook while I was using it, the MacBook was drawing more power than it needed just to charge.

About an hour and a half later, my MacBook is fully charged, and the battery pack still has 19% left. So not only did it fully charge my MacBook, it still has a little room to go. Pretty cool.

That about wraps it up for this USB-C power bank. If you’re interested, as always there’s a link in the description below. If you liked the video, don’t forget to like and subscribe, and I’ll see you in the next one. Bye.
