Hey all, today we’re going to take a look at this UGREEN 7-in-1 USB-C multifunctional adapter. Let’s open it up. What do we have inside? The adapter itself, user instructions, and a recycling card. Anything else? Nope, that’s it. The adapter is wrapped in a little soft plastic.

On this side we have our charging port, the HDMI, a USB-C in/out, and two USB 3.0 ports. On the other end we have an SD card slot and a microSD slot. Let’s put it down — it’s not too big. Here it is next to an M4 MacBook Air for scale. Let’s plug it in and take a look at that HDMI port.

We’re at my desk and you can see I have my MacBook Air over there with the UGREEN plugged in. I needed an extra HDMI port, so this is my primary display, and now my secondary display is going to run through the adapter. If we zoom out, the primary is working fine, and I’ve got the secondary display working too, thanks to the UGREEN adapter. It’s working just as I wanted.

If I want to add a bit of extra I/O to my MacBook, I totally can — and since this Mac doesn’t have an SD card slot, this provides that as well. It basically gives me all the ports I need. Cool.

That about wraps it up for this UGREEN adapter. You get all these ports on the back plus the SD card slots, so it’s pretty good. If you’re interested, I’ll put some affiliate links down below.
