Hi and welcome to yet another review. I just wanted to review this SuperSpeed USB 3.0 hub from Wavlink, which I got on Amazon. Don’t mind the spaghetti. It’s pretty cool — you can turn ports off individually, which is why I picked it up — but it makes this horrible sound. The funny thing is, if you turn off an outlet here, or if the machine’s on, it goes away. Right now nothing is plugged in and it’s making this sound. So if that bothers you, maybe avoid this one.
Otherwise it does a good job. It’s perfectly good, it was very affordable, it powers my devices, and it does what a hub should. But yeah, those are my thoughts on this Wavlink USB hub — it makes humming sounds, it’s a bit weird.
