Hello and welcome back. Today we’ll take a quick look at these Coles bulbs. My old bulbs — one of them kind of started smoking, so I pulled all of those out of use and returned them. Hopefully these don’t do that. These are from the major supermarket here in Australia, hopefully they’re good.
Let’s take a quick look. I don’t expect much, just two bulbs — where’s the other one? Oh, still in there. Two bulbs with the Coles logo printed on them. Nothing spectacular here. These are going above my kitchen range hood, the heat extractor light thing. They were $10 Australian for the two of them.
Welcome to my kitchen. You’ll see that the nasty old landlord-special range hood that’s been here since 1997 is starting to have the paint flake, but the lights are replaced and they look pretty good. I don’t think it’s capturing well on camera, but they’re a nice warm white which I like very much. For $10, hopefully these last a few years. I’m pretty happy with them. Pick them up if you need some E14 bulbs.
